Apple Sandwich with Greens
A simple, balanced lunch idea that includes all the food groups!
Ingredients
- 4 medium apple
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 4 stick string cheese
- 2 cup green peas, frozen
- 2 cup edamame, shelled
- 4 serving crackers, whole-wheat
Instructions
- Slice apples horizontally into quarters. Using a small food cutter, cut out the core.
- Spread almond butter between apple slices forming sandwiches.
- Equally divide all ingredients and place into lunchboxes to go.
