We want you to be successful in following these meal plans, so we put together a short step-by-step guide for the fruit leather you can make for Friday’s snack! This snack, although drying takes awhile, is actually a really fast process! Put the pan to dry in the oven on Thursday night, and it will be ready Friday!
Step 1: Take 2 cups frozen fruit and place in a pot over very low heat. Mash and stir the fruit until it begins to break down and turn soupy.
Step 2: Take fruit out of pot and put in a blender adding 1/4 cup of water.
Step 4: Place pan in oven and close the door. Set oven to 250 degrees. Once the oven hits 250 degrees, turn oven off and keep oven door closed until fruit leather is dry. Anywhere for 3 hours to overnight!
Step 5: Peel and enjoy! Peeling might be tough at first, but once you can get under the fruit leather and start it peeling, it won’t be a problem.
