Peach Mango Freeze

Peach Mango Freeze, the perfect refreshing summertime slushee made without any refined sugar!

I recently made a Frozen Strawberry Peach Lemonade that was out of this world. It was so easy that I knew I wanted to make many, many variations of it! {Insert Peach Mango Freeze}. I have been exploring all things frozen treats and none have disappointed. On a recent trip to Costco I got a little excited and ambitious all at the same time and bought way too much fruit for two people. What’s a girl to do? Freeze it: Ice cream! Popsicles! Slushes! It may be hot outside but it’s been cool in the kitchen and I’m eager to bring you along for a fantastic recipe!

Who has hit up their local farmer’s market?

Ooh ooh.. Pick me.

Next to growing my own fruits and veggies I LOVE my local farmer’s market!

The produce.

The people.

The music.

The everything.

I know it’s not usually until late August – but when the peaches are ready I go stone cold crazy. I LOVE peach season. When paired with mango for this sweet treat I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Alright, dramatic much? Maybe. Hear me out. I’m a sucker for yummy sippables and I’m telling you, if you give it a whirl you won’t regret it.

We’ve talked mangos.

Lastly, add in a splash of fresh squeezed lemon juice. This is my all-time FAVORITE juice press. No lie we bought ours a couple of years ago and we use it almost daily. We are constantly making our Lemonade Cleanse drink with lemons and limes as well as fresh citrus on a regular basis to throw in to our vegetable juicing (came in real handy when we did both of our 30 day juice fasts!). Anywhoo.. I digress.

Peaches. Mango. Lemon juice. Little bit of honey. Ice. Water. VOILA! When a recipe has five or less ingredients I do a happy dance. Tell me I’m not alone in that. If there’s one thing everyone is running short on, it’s time! So the fewer the ingredients the better! Did you notice there’s no refined sugar? {Insert another happy dance}. While everyone else is spending their summer knee deep in sugar, I’m over here sippin’ on my fruity guilt-free frosty treat without a care in the world. Won’t you join me?

Mangoes and peaches have enough natural sweetness to them. I enjoy a smoothy without the lemon juice & also leave out the honey and add in an avocado. Don’t know why but smoothies are always smoother with an avocado!

This sounds so good! I would love to try it. I’m a big fan of lemonade too, so I would love the frozen lemonade recipe. Thanks for sharing!

My recommdation for mangos is to skip the fresh one and buy the frozen ones from the dollar store. Cheap. No sugar added, and perfect for smoothies. Fresh may taste a little better but the conscience is worth it!
