Dried Kiwi, Pineapple and Bananas
The other day a friend came over and wanted to dry some fruit. She brought with her a few kiwis to try. Neither of us had ever tried drying kiwi at home. The verdict: Delicious! Seriously one of the best dried fruits I have ever tried. So I decided, if home-dried kiwi was that good, I bet drying pineapple at home without all of that added sugar would be good too. Guess what? I was right!
Dried Kiwi just by itself........ delicious........
Dried Pineapple by itself....... yummy.......
Dried Kiwi, Pineapple, and Banana...........you have yourself a tropical party!
This would be fun to serve at some kind of Luau themed party. And the great thing about drying citrus fruit, is that they don't turn brown and you don't have to add anything to them. (The banana I dipped in lemon juice, but they still turned a little brown)
Amelia LOVED the kiwi. I actually had to make more to take pictures of because she ate them all too fast!
