Fruit Salsa and Meal Plan

Mmmmmm, check out our fruit salsa we had for a snack today!

fruit salsa with cinamon chips

It’s got:

  • Kiwi
  • Strawberries
  • Green peppers
  • Yellow Peppers
  • Red Peppers
  • Pineapple
  • and cinnamon tortilla strips that we baked!

Even my kids who don’t care for peppers, enjoyed this “dip”.  This week’s meal plan will definitely include this fruit salsa!

Anyway- On to a new meal plan.  Speaking of meal plans, I had forgotten about one I wrote a long time ago for the first week of braces.  All soft foods! Ha ha.. I was just thinking about it because I have two kids about to get into braces, and Tracey just put a kid in braces and tweeted that she used it! It’s a good one!

Don’t forget, all the meal plan’s in print format are on the archives page.  Also, we’ve got our new meal planning membership site if you want to check that out too!

This salsa looks awesome! I have to try this fruit recipe .. do you make the pieces smaller? I think I might try the Chop N Prep from Tupperware to make this smaller for my kids. But great idea mixing the the veggies and fruits!!
