But here is what we came up with:

Apple Pie Parfait. Is this a healthy breakfast or a delicious dessert?

Peel and chop one apple.  Sprinkle cinnamon on apple chunks and microwave for 1 minute.  Take out and stir.  Microwave for one more minute.  Take out and let apples cool.

Then layer yogurt, granola, apples, and yogurt to make your parfait.  This is healthy enough to be breakfast, and delicious enough to be dessert!

What fruit do you like to make for your parfait?

I love these flavors together…I typically do the same thing with 0% fat Greek yogurt, but I use apple pie spice instead of just cinnamon. I highly recommend it…just like eating apple pie! You could also use pumpkin puree instead of apples and pumpkin pie spice – yum!

What ever you cook/heat in microwave foods will lose all nutrition and vitamins! If you or your kids want be healthy then one thing what must forget is microwave!
